Needle Knight Leda is the leader of a demigod's band of followers. Having sworn her fealty to said demigod and his plans to make the world a gentler place, Leda's purpose in life is to cut down all that would threaten him, be they enemy or ally. As her title suggests, she's skilled in the way of the sword, and typically seen in armor. She's learned in holy magic, as well.
She's noble and knightly, serious and calm, but mistrustful to a fault. Some of her compatriots describe her as the type to overextend herself, to try to carry all burdens and work alone — while others simply say she's a fanatical zealot who cannot trust others.

The Needle Knights were originally the knights in service to the demigod Miquella the Kind. As Leda's armor states, "Kindly Miquella fashioned us as his needles to quell all, to ward away all."
At some point in her service, Leda became convinced that her fellow Needle Knights could not be trusted to carry out their vow to Miquella, or that sooner or later, they would betray him. Following these suspicions, she culled all of her comrades; her sword is said to reek with the stench of crusted blood, even after much time has passed from the mass killing. As such, she is the only remaining Needle Knight.
Some time after, she and other followers of Miquella unrelated to the knights are put under an enchantment by him, which keeps her frequent suspicions of others at bay temporarily.
However, soon after the enchantment breaks, she immediately asks the player character to help her ferret out the followers in the band that are traitors, claiming that she wants to be rid of all those who do not "deserve" to be in Miquella's presence. This turn eventually leads to her attempting to kill several members of her party, to varying degrees of success based on player decisions.

LEDA'S ARMORChest armor of Needle Knight Leda. Slightly strengthens attacks following a dodge roll or backstep, as well as dash attacks. Embroidered with a golden crossed-tree motif, the chalk white cloak and surcoat symbolize the honor of the Needle Knights. "Kindly Miquella fashioned us as his needles to quell all, to ward away all."

Light greatsword with gold inlaid. Weapon of Leda, the Needle Knight. Deals holy damage. Though polished to a mirror sheen, this blade still reeks with the stench of crusted blood that lingers from the cull of her knightly comrades.

Blessing of Needle Knight Leda. An unalloyed light that has never dwelled in an eye. Use to gain 40000 runes. Miquella gifted Leda with gentle gold to bring a soft hue to her faded eyes.
LACERATING CROSSED TREE
Handicraft depicting a golden crossed-tree. One of the items conferred to the Needle Knights. Enhances dash attacks. Long ago, the Needle Knights were in service of Miquella, but now they are no more. Save for one.
NEEDLE PIERCER
Skill of Needle Knight Leda. Generates ten gold needles which pierce their target all at once. Those pierced are purged of all ailments and special effects alike.
